Loan Depot has proven easy to work with. The reps are always very helpful and pleasant to work with. My daughter and I have both chosen to work with them, especially in getting the lowest interest rates.
Easy refi / rate reduction with VA loan. BUT, poor service, dates unclear, actual closing process/ date unclear. One side of the business has NO IDEA what the other side does. 1st loan was to be closed 6/11. Papers signed. RTR is 3 days. So "it should take 20 days to refund your escrow account" yet 30 days later still nothing. Loan originator Darrin will not return calls. We had a very easy time refinancing our home. The customer service was timely and the conversations easy to understand. The whole process only took a few weeks and we were able to get a better rate and lower closing costs than other competitors. I recommend them very highly for both the simple experience and quality personnel that we had.

Loandepot made my entire hone buying process a breeze. I found the perfect home at a rate I could afford. I locked in a very low rate a few weeks before close and I am happy with the whole team over there. My agent betty worked diligently and kept me informed of costs and rates throughout the entire process.

Outstanding performance from start to finish and I'm a hard person to please. But they are GREAT PEOPLE!
It took Loandepot 2 months to tell me they were not approving the loan. Mind you, I have excellent credit but John and Tammy didn't know how to handle a trust or rental properties. If you have anything special to your application, don't bother using Loandepot. I get the feeling they don't know what they're doing.
Great Customer Service from beginning to end. Knew exactly where my loan was every step of the way. They got me the best interest rate and delivered unlike some of the other larger banks. I would recommend doing business with Loan Depot, top notch experience!
