The closing was confusing. I supposed to get my appraisal 100% re-funded but I just got a part of it. Also because the closing dates changed, I needed to pay my old Mortage company the interest fee, and also that was not refunded, which I was told that I will be. Overall experience was bad.
Bait and switch on closing cost and then unresponsive customer service to correct.
Getting my loan approved through LoanDepot was quick and easy. The Linane Team displayed top notch customer service til the very end. They responded to my emails on nights and weekends and explained everything in terms that I could easily understand. By the time the other loan company responded to my request for quotes, my loan with LoanDeport was already pre-approved. I felt confident and well-versed going into closing. I would definitely recommend them.
LoanDepot really care only for sales but not for service. Once I signed the documents they didn’t care about funding the loan in time. Even after repeatedly asking if I should pay for the current month they kept telling me that it will be funded but they delayed and I ended up paying fines. When they were running late they didn’t even care to inform me about the delay nor care to ask me to go ahead and pay my existing lender.
They sent me a bill last month which they do not support to sent at least three months if you know what I mean, and they sent me a bill for this month with inaccurate and confusing numbers in it which makes me more depressed in this depressing time. Avoid it if you can and to those who may or may not respond to this review, don't mind them. It is above their pay grade.
Excellent Mortgage company for refinancing and for the new Load
Brian, is a great loan officer, helpful, knowledgeable, answering all questions I had and he is upfront and honest. Second time doing business with loan depot and Brian is the reason why . thanks again Brian and Loan Depot
I would definitely recommend Loan Depot to my friends and family. Of the many finance and re-finance projects I have done both as an individual and an attorney, my recent Loan Depot experience was by far the most professional I have enjoyed. I was kept informed at every step of the process. My questions were addressed immediately, and my contact employee, Marria, is a true professional in ever regard. I would definitely do business with Loan Depot again, and pro-actively recommend them to friends, family, and clients.
