The absolute worst company to deal with. Expressed requirements at BEGINNING of a re-fi. Repeated these during discussions throughout the 16 weeks it took them to close. AND I have over an 815 credit score with no negatives that would raise a flag. Then they totally DISREGARD with NO BASIS WHATSOEVER AND IGNORED DESIGNATIONS IN THE SIGNED CLOSING PAPERS. THEY VIOLATED THESE AGREEMENTS AND I AM NOW TAKING LEGAL ACTION ON THEM.

Stay away! They dragged our re-finance out 90 plus days. Approved us, then I think they declined us because our rate lock was too low. I think this company is a scam. I think the underwriting department is completely disorganized. I recommend you look at another company.

The process of buying a house is very exciting, yet a little bit stressful. You have to know who to fully trust with the whole process especially when it’s time to close. Honestly, the process was not smooth. However, my loan officer Phil B**** did everything he could on his end to close ASAP. To date, the worst experience ever. No call backs. No updates. Zero communication. Missed two interest lock dates (which were provided by Loan Depot). When asked for status, no status is ever given. Example: Loan Depot "I will update numbers for the new month as this loan is going to final review today or tomorrow - there is a 2 month pad for all escrow accounts- Once I update with the new payoff and dates I will send you an updated disclosure, " Six days after the receipt of above, I sent "Please provide update. Extremely profession team from beginning to end. All communicated above and beyond even after hours and on weekends to keep me informed. They worked very hard during a very busy time to successfully complete two refi's for me at the same time. I have bought and refinanced many times with many different lenders and this team was the very best! I have highly recommendthe them to three people already.

Too many mistakes. We had our “final” settlement sheets sent to us 6 times, all with different closing costs. Our payout/refund was held up over a week. Would not use Loan Depot again.
