Mandee Hallgarten, Platinum Sr. Account Manager III requested personal information by email for a refinance on our rental property. We sent information by email but she said she did not receive it and continued to request more personal information. She said she couldn't do a loan if we didn't have $4000 in our personal checking account and would not accept our business checking account balance. Mandee continued to delay closing loan and we had worked over 3 months trying to get loan closed.
Everything was great!! The loan officer and processor kept me informed throughout the process.

I just refinanced 2 loan and in total have done 4 mortgages with Loan Depot. They always have the best rates (I always check) and their fees are lower than the competitors. Before Covid, we we were able to very quickly close on our properties. The refi’s this summer did take 60 days but they were transparent about the time line due to the number of refinances in the system. The signings were fine, on time and woman was nice. Loan Depot made our first home buying experience very easy. We always got quick responses from our loan team. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. The online portfolio made everything very user friendly. Our agent was very supportive and answered our questions quickly and professionally. It was nice knowing that we were talking to an actual person who encouraged us when things were a little scary and shared in our celebrations.
