I got a call from Leo G******* in September, 2020 asking if my husband and I wanted to refinance our house. We had been considering it and I said yes. He collected the information and emailed the paperwork. Asked me to e-sign the documents. My name was listed as "****** ******" instead of "***** ******". I asked him to change this. Smaller loans MAY NOT get enough attention. Once my loan left the desk of my loan processor things went wrong, or were simply left for someone else. It took a call to the Executive Office to light a fire and even then things didn’t go as scheduled. Now, well after closing, I am getting updated, “corrected” documents. From unexplained fees to frustration with poor communication, being successful appears to me at least that LoanDepot says more about customer satisfaction than they deliver at the present time.

Cant believe how fast this went, from the first call asking about doing a VA refinance to having a great new low APR in less than 30 days was amazing, could not be more happy. the whole process went flawless and the response to my question were answered quickly, thanks again to the whole team for they help with our refi

Everyone was fantastic. A great experience with no hold ups or problems. The apps for communicating and uploading documents were very helpful.

The worst company I have ever worked with. I left several emails and several voice mails without ever getting a response. It took 90 minutes of calling before I finally was able to speak to their customer service and cancel my application, the rep just said "oh okay I'll cancel it" (out $500 for the appraisal I paid for) They gave me a quote for 1.51 closing points originally and after the appraisal came back 470k instead of the estimated 480K the raised the closing points to 3.77! I refinanced my loan with Loan Depot. The rates were competitive, however the low rate is not worth the headache this has created in my life. My loan estimate that was given jumped up $2500 on the day I was signing my documents. They stated it was because my property taxes were due soon and those needed to be included. Fair enough, I was able to come up with the extra cash with zero notice. Then, the next month, when my property taxes were due, guess what? Loan Depot DID NOT PAY my property taxes. As other stated they do not return calls. This seems like a scam beware. If its not they have the terrible customer service. I will update when and if i close.

I have been working for home refinance with the loan depot team. I started the process in July 16th. Still now i have not seen any progress. To let know my credit score is above 750 and have no foreclosure or bankruptcy etc. Combined annual income is above 300K. The loan depot team has not been responsive. They comeback after a month of follow up with some document request which was provided them upfront.
