Their customer service is ridiculous. We have been going through a refi process for 3 months now and it still is not complete. People do not respond to emails nor calls once they get you started. The first person that I worked with was Brad S. He was amazing. As soon as the loan went to someone else I was never responded to. When I asked to work with someone else I was told that doesn't happen and she would tell them that I chose to cancel my loan. Terrible experience. Therion was the Account Manager. Never returned a single phone call. Not once. I have very clean credit and this was a very simple loan. Took months, repeated requests for documents I already supplied. Changing standards for loans. They rescheduled closing several times. I signed the papers over 10 days ago and they still want documents signed. The loan has not been funded yet. If I hadn’t checked the old loan I would have been late with my payment. Excellent service and timely closing. Kudos to Julian R***** and Josie. They helped to get my refinance in a record time, and they were very professional and courteous. I would give them 10/10 for everything.

Poor customer service, They never paid my property tax from 2020 so now its delinquent. I am going to have to pay it out of pocket and not be able to claim it on my taxes even though I have an Escrow account set up. I have written several emails and am usually on hold for a longer period of time than talking to a person to resolve this issue. And the only answer I can get is "I don't know what happened."

My current mortgage is with LoanDepot. The salesman that I spoke with during refinancing was terrific. The rates and fees associated with refinancing were reasonable and I ended up with a rate 2% lower than my prior mortgage. Underwriting took about 2 months with pretty much no contact from them during that time except for new salesmen calling to ask if I would like to refinance. My experience with Loan Depot was phenomenal! This was my first home purchase and everything took about 1 month from start to close. The overall professionalism, communication, thoroughness, guidance, timeliness are only pieces of the pie, but everything was EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish. I worked with the dream team and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely recommend Loan Depot to friends and family!

Worst refinancing experience of my life. I started the Winston B. It was great to work with. He is the only person in this agency that communicated and followed up with me. When approved he sent me to Terry Oh and things went downhill fast. He requested the same information that I had previously submitted. He was confused from the beginning and I was advised he was new.
