I have spent over a year trying to get the sectional that I bought. The first one took over four months to be delivered and when it was, it was damaged. So, a replacement was ordered, and four months later it was delivered damaged as well. Once again, a replacement was ordered, and XPO shows up today to deliver it but Living Spaces did not process the exchange paperwork, so therefore I still don't have a new couch. Billed me for an item that had the wrong delivery address (entered by them) , I made attempts to correct the address the day the order was placed. No assistance from them at all. Horrible. The item was returned to them by UPS, and they still billed me, and added late charges. I have cancelled my account and will not spend my money with them.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased a foam mattress over a year ago. The smell has not dissipated as Living Spaces said it would in about 3-7 days. It smells like chemicals and burns my eyes and throat. I spent over $1000 on this mattress. I have called the company several times for help and NO ONE has called me back. Living Spaces in Van Nuys has the most horrible customer service. They are all like robots, unfriendly and don't offer any real human interaction nor do they care to truly help you. Most of them have no knowledge of their product. Policy is extremely strict so don't be a day late on your 7 day return policy, no refunds, no exchanges, no courtesy. I would give a -1 if I could waited after I paid for a bedroom set for my daughter for 3 months to get it delivered, they set up delivery 4 times and cancelled 1 hour before delivery the fourth time they brought the bed with no foot board and just left saying they were sorry I contacted the store and they said we are sorry we can't get the footboard so Why would they sell a bed and not have the ability to get the complete bed They offered me nothing for my inconvenience and basically said they can't do anything as the bed is... read more
I purchased an item from them and when I went to put it together I discovered it was defective/damaged so I called their warranty department and later received a phone call from them indicating my claim was denied due to the 7 day return window had expired. I purchased the item early because of all the delays with shipping to ensure when we moved in it was there. So yes the unopened box did sit for a period of time. I would really like to give zero stars. Worst experience. I will never go to Living Spaces again and I will never recommend them to anyone. I was given a delivery date over 2 weeks ago. Delivery date is today and now I'm told it will probably be at least another week, but they're not sure and they won't allow me to cancel because it's already in transit, yet the website clearly shows that it hasn't even been picked up. Dresser delivered broken, I then drove 1.5 hours to the nearest store to exchange the item. They had to open 4 boxed to find 1 undamaged dresser. Email confirmation of mattress delivery states it will be delivered in 4 - 8 days, 8 days later, and still no mattress. Call in and you can't get anyone to answer the phone in the United States, can't even understand what they are saying. 5 phone calls later get a young man in CA that talks so quietly I have to keep telling him to speak up. Please do not waste your time with this store. You pay upfront and wait months for your products. Then they deliver by dropping off at your door and are gone. When we opened the boxes of 3 products we ordered, bed, dresser and nightstand we found a dent on the side/back of dresser. When I called to report I was offered $20, i declined and asked for an exchange. I was then asked if they could try and fix it and have someone come to the house.
