As with what others are saying, I should have done more research before calling. I asked what it would be to rekey the locks on my new home versus buying new hardware and isntalling it myself. I was told they would send someone out for $29.95 to inspect and give me a quote. I had 4 exterior doors and 7 locks so I figured it was work it. After locking myself out of my truck twenty miles from home and having no one I could or would call in the middle of the day to rescue me from my stupid mistake, I called Key Me. They told me they could have someone there within a half hour and, when I specifically asked for the price of the service, I was quoted $29.95, to which I thought, thirty bucks well, that's not a horribly expensive lesson, and it will teach me to remember my damned keys. I called Keyme because I needed a car key to be programed. They outsource and it was very hard for me to understand the gentleman. I called at 11AM. They called me from a local number but did not leave a message at 8:06, 8:07, 8:10 and finally 8:12 when I got near my phone, I answered. They said, " You need someone to come now, right?" I said no, It's almost 8:30 now". So they said they would call me the next day and that it would be around $300. I told them the local dealership quoted me $150. Called KeyMe to replace a security deadbolt to garage. An aggressive intimidating brash guy came over, did not ask us what we wanted but told us what we wanted ..three elderly ladies. He showed us a picture on his phone from 5 feet away and said you NEED this lock and it was $370, ?.. he did not put in a $370 lock, he put in a $30 lock . I was able to break in with a credit card in 40 seconds . Charged us $679.00 2-elderly ladies 87 and 90 ..taken advantage of by this man ripped off and lied to. Do not use this company. I got a call from their third party locksmith saying that he was 20 minutes away. After an hour of waiting I had to call KeyMe because they allow 3rd party contractors to call using their phone number yet you are sent straight to their customer service center when you call back. They told me that the locksmith would now be there within 30 minutes. After waiting another hour he still had not shown up. buy2 get one free. Key I really needed didnt work. Rep asked for which key, gave them the ID but on refund a third of payment as they include the "free" one in the total.$8.99 plus tax for one key refund of $6.56. Cost me $3.25 to have key made at another vendor. Not happy. I bet a third dont work and they just keep collecting on their "free" key.

I was locked out of my vehicle so I called KeyMe. When the guy called me asking for my location which I gave him several times over and he told me he was 20 minutes away. I called him back about 3 minutes past his time he gave me and told me he was 8 minutes away and that I would receive a $20 discount. He finally showed up an hour later after my original call from the company. It took him about 3 minutes to unlock the vehicle and was charged $135, outrageous. Don't use this company.

I have never heard of keyme before, I needed a spare key for my car. I am glad I gave it a try. Of course with many concerns, will the key work, an other concerns. Keyme was quick to answer any questions and concerns! I got my key today, and it works!!! Reasonably priced and quick delivery now I have a spare key for my car and saved me from having to go to the dealer!! Thank you keyme!!
