This is a rip off. do not use their service.I got locked out of my apartment and called them for help.The locksmith calls me back and says he will charge $29 to come but would not say how much it will cost to open the lock until he comes. Then he tells me the charge is an additional $189 to open the lock. It took him less than 2 min to open with a simple inflatable sac.I would never recommend to this service to anyone. They are not honest and they take advantage of customers.

In areas where we do not have direct coverage, we have a partner company assist with these services. Since our partners did not follow through with the customer satisfaction in mind, we will reach out to them to set proper guidelines so this does not happen again.
I'm locked out of my car freezing I called these clowns and they tell me they have a person in my area not too far away he's got the green light to go over there blah blah blah they send me 10 text messages in 7 minutes in the last one says yeah we can't do it we're going to send your money back in 3 to 5 business days are you serious this is a terrible business and I believe it's a fake one as well

We are terribly sorry for what happened to the customer! We made multiple attempts to get technicians out to the location. We were unable to find a technician during this time after the initial technician cancelled due to technical issues. We proactively refunded the money as we were not able to assist and provided an alternate route to help the customer via a partner company. We will work with our technicians in the field and improve our processes to better serve our customers in a situation like this in the future.

We are so sorry to hear this happened to the customer and understand their frustration. After diving into this a bit more, we were able to conclude all of our technicians were busy at the time of purchase hence the extended wait time. To rectify this issue, we have located the cancelled order and have reversed their cancellation fee so that they receive those funds back as well.
This service is probably one of the scariest things I have ever come across. I did not know it existed until I came across it in a 7-Eleven. My apartment has been broken into probably 10 times now with no repercussions for this company. I suggest the Better Business Bureau investigate this company because I cannot figure out how this is legal. My experience with KeyMe was completely and irredeemably atrocious. I would never recommend them to anyone.My first mistake was assuming they were an actual local locksmith. They are not. They are a digital app/service which aggregates and dispatches actual locksmiths. Seeing a location near you does not mean a thing.Only after do we conclude our call do I get the text about the locksmith's info and ***, which is 40 minutes. This place is an expensive JOKE! Whatever you do do not use this place. My friend needed to change the locks on front and back door 4 locks the tech gave a price of $700.00 I was shocked what a rip off! He showed up with flip flops, shorts, and a white tee shirt I had no idea who he was...no uniform no identifiable vehicle. He could have been anybody coming to rip us off like he tried to do. Absolutely horrible, I had taken my dog to the pet store and I help him into the car after because he is older, I had swung my purse keys and phone onto the front seat, I must have accidentally hit the lock button so now my dog and phone are locked in the car. The people at the pet store were fantastic and so helpful. The first place we called did not answer and being Sunday many places were not open. The second place was KeyMe locksmith. Terrible ! I called this morning looking for assistance, i locked myself out of my car at a gas station. The representative took all of my information and told me that a driver will be in contact. Never got a call the entire time, nor a follow up call if i have been serviced. Luckily , someone at the gas station was kind enough to do it themselves with a hanger ! Was able to make it to work on time NO thanks to KEY ME ! I wouldn't recommend this company, Just keep a spare key on you at all times to avoid the hassle !

The company does not stand behind its promise. I called KeyMe and apparently, all they do is call a 3rd party and that 3rd party sends a locksmith out.Until after the locksmith made my key did I find out what the true cost of the service was. And when I called to complain to KeyMe, they tell me they just called a 3rd party and would not take any responsiblity for what happened.This is a scam.
