I locked my keys in my car last night and called them, they said they'd be there in "way less than an hour" 2 hours later I'm still waiting and nobody is answering the number they texted me for the tech. Then I get a call saying "we can't get to you until tomorrow morning" so I said I can't wait that long I'm nowhere near home and I need my car to get home (it was freezing out) and they charged me a cancelation fee.

This is a marketing company that charges you $150 or more and then tries to pay somebody $30 to do the job. Most locksmith in auto lockout guys who are good charge over $75 so the people who actually come to your house are complete losers who don't know what they're doing.Key.me is a scam and I'm in the process of creating a website where everyone who gets scammed by them can post their stories

I will never use KeyMe again. After paying $449 to install a front door lock, the dead bolt plate was crooked. I called the company to have them correct the shoddy installation, but after telling me they would, the locksmith never showed up and wouldn't return my text messages. I called the company again and was told that I would have to pay an additional fee for someone to fix it. They even suggested I had taken a hammer to the lock myself.

I locked my key inside my apartment so I needed to get access but it wasn't an emergency. So, I called KeyMe for a quote and the lady who answered said it would be $29 to come out. I said, "that's it?". She said yes, unless I wanted more services. So the guy comes out within 45 min, picks my lock within 2 min., then hands me a **** for $244! The worst locksmiths. They charged my card 150$ then sent me a text saying they couldnt help after an hour of waiting. Do not use key me!!

I received such good customer service I had to find somewhere to write a positive review. I am actually shocked that their BBB rating is so low, given my experience with them. At first I was hesitant to let them hold a digital imprint of my key in their machine (for later use if you get locked out, upon creating an account) but I did opt in for this option while making a house key for my boyfriend at the time.
