I had them come out to my business after hours to replace the front door lock as it would not loc. They replaced it with the incorrect assembly and charged me $1700.00 for a $200.00 job.

I have used KeyMe twice. The first time the key I made didn't work. I thought it was a fluke. Two years later I made three keys at a KeyMe kiosk. NONE of those three keys worked (in addition to being made out of the cheapest material)! That got me to look up reviews where I see others have the same experience. I will NEVER use KeyMe again. Save your time and money.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I recommend that no one ever use this organization. My family simply locked our keys in our house. One door handle lock needed to be picked. This was a simple job. The locks were all brand new with not faulty components. The contractor deliberately destroyed a $250 decorative door lock on the front door and replaced it with generic parts that are cheap and not in line with the door handle. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND WAY OVERPRICED. I wish I would have did my research first and saw these reviews before I used KeyMe. The locksmith was 4 hours late. For a combo two way locking system (lock and deadbolt) I know I heard a quote of $155.00. So 155.00 plus $29 service call, I figure it was a fair and reasonable cost. When he was done, he wrote out the invoice, he doubled the $155 for material, total $310. He added $75 for labor and $29 service call plus tax. My total bill $447.00 . I ordered a lock to be fixed and on the same day, a very nice locksmith and apprentice came out and took a look at the lock. They were unable to fix the issue and said that they would need to order a part and that Key Me would get back to me shortly. As soon as the situation was transferred back to Key Me customer service, the problems started. I called for a follow up every two days and each time the person said they didn't know what the issue was with my order, but it was being 'escalated.' After two weeks someone finally ... read more
I had just scheduled service for a locksmith to come create keys for my truck and after speaking with two representatives to setup a time for someone to come, no one ever showed up. Extremely upset as I have been waiting 3hrs for a locksmith to show up and no one has even called me to schedule anything. This is the first time I've used KeyMe and it is safe to say I will never use their services again.

I called to get 5 locks changed. All they do is send a local guy out and add $100 to the bill. They did send a great locksmith but $100 as a go between is way too steep.

First - use ****** *** Kiosks, KeyMe is a poor imitation of ****** ***. FIRST - NO PRICES ARE SHOWN Screen shows options of decorative keys or brass keys. FAKE I was going to get 4 keys, screen shows an offer of HALF PRICE if I get 5 keys. So I changed to 5 keys. But still no price is showing.
