They will purposely delay getting paperwork done so that extra fees get added to your bill. We have had this issue through several vehicle sells and new purchases when we've gone to switch what is getting covered and then they have continued to charge us for vehicles even after we have called to have them removed and we had already sold them to someone else. They then say that it's already been done and they can't fix it. The lady named Jodie repeatedly told me they aren't a retail store! Very untrustworthy!
My vehicle was involved in an accident 6/14/2022! StateFarm waited 3 weeks to have an adjuster come out to check the vehicle, the body shop started working on the car then stopped because of this. They were waiting for the estimate to be approved that they sent weeks before. Nonetheless StateFarm told me that they were understaffed but meanwhile my car isn't finished and they're going back and forth with the body shop about the estimate. Need 1 agent per customer to be attentive and vigilant.
After being a loyal customer for 8 years, I was very disappointed in my experience with my agent. I was in an accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and totaled can’t new car. I was without a car for 3 months until I finally received a settlement. I had to argue for weeks until I received a fair settlement for what my car was actually worth in the current market. Company refused to cover my rental car beyond 24 days (current policy) despite the unprecedented circumstances of a parts shortage. They also refused to total car, but could not prove the numerical calculations they used to determine that the car (waiting on a part 6+ months & counting) was not worth being declared totaled. 19 % auto premium rate increase. Agent was unable to explain the rate increase. Attempted many times thru the day to get someone on the phone at the *********** **office to explain this to me but there is no direct contact with anyone from the cooperate level. I would not recommend them! I filed a claim 2 months ago on my roof, and I have a roofer working with me . They put a tarp on my roof which I had to pay out of pocket $300 because have interior damage too. The claim was $14 over the deductible, The roofer tried to repair the roof and he said it was repairable. Reopened the claim , they sent a 3rd party to inspect the roof and the roofer was there to talk to him , he took a 3 foot sample shingle to be inspected, And my new claim is $1300 above my deductible which I am furious... read more
After my car was totaled, I was waiting to get my check from my car. They sent me some paperwork to fill out, to release my car and get my money back after they take the car. I filled out everything that was sent to me. After a few weeks where my money never came I reached out to them and they informed me that they forgot to send me a "power of attorney" for me to fill out. State farm is not about customers satisfaction, they **** as a company, and all of their agents ****, we've been going back and forth for 6 months to do a claim on our house and its Still not done! DO NOT USE STATE FARM!
