We have had home and auto full coverage with state farm for about thirty years. About 15 years ago we had a hit and run (we were the hit) filed a claim. They paid 500 we paid 3200. Three years ago we had to have a floor replaced because of a leaky AC that ruined our floor. They paid 600 we paid 4000. Four months ago Tr***** ** had a tornado go through and destroyed a lot of homes and life's. Our roof got damaged from the hail and wind. We paid 14000 to have the roof replaced. we were with state farm for 3 months then all of a sudden they dropped us without letting us know. we found out though. We were covered till end of June 2022. So, we switched back to our original insurance company we had. Well, May 2022 we had an accident and current insurance started working on it and state farm adjuster waited till June to contact us. I have been a customer for State Farm for years. I have always paid my premiums before it was due and I have never filed a claim until this year. State Farm sent me to a repair shop within their network. I waited almost two months before **State Farm sent an adjuster. I’ve had insurance with State Farm for several years. I was in a minor accident on 4/5/2022. At the time I had my sons car seat in the vehicle. I live in C********* and know about Insurance code 11580.011. They promised to send me a letter regarding the car seat stating what to do next. State Farm sold my elderly mother a home owners policy when she was in her 70s, I believe. she is now 98 and has been paying for almost 30 years with no claims. She now needs repairs to her roof, looks like damage from some kind of rodents. State Farm says "your policy only covers damage from bears and deer"!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. Got in an accident on 6/3 & had my car seat in the car. Was told by the first customer service rep that they don’t cover it if it’s minor but if my manufacturer says it needs to be replaced they would. I called back after inlooked at the manufacturer website & it stated it needs to be replaced. I called back & talked to another CS agent who told me “well yeah they all will say that” and refuses to get me to a manager. Buyers beware! If you have slab Insurance DON'T ASSUME it covers your slab, foundation. They have clauses inside of clauses inside of more that allows them to deny paying for fixes. My dad was told due to the type of soil here in east ***** they don't cover slab cracking which inturns causes a wall to lean possibly fall and injuring someone. They don't cover sink holes that appear from underneath your slab. Have clauses for that. Extremely rude customer service. I hung up on him and I will be canceling my insurance as soon as I can replace it next week. You don’t judge a business when things go right. It’s important to see how they handle things when there are problems. I am insured by State Farm. I brought my car to a local body shop with front end damage when someone hit me in a parking lot.
