I don't know if there's a room in the hotel with a bad view but I haven't stayed in one yet. Every room has been immaculately cleaned, well maintained and modernly styled. The staff has always been friendly, professional and accommodating. I love the early 3PM check-in time and the (equally, hospitality industry rare) 12PM check-out time. I love the Westin. My wedding reception was here in 2007. My sister's wedding reception was here in 2013. I try to stay at Westin in Charlotte once a year. We are here this weekend celebrating my son's 8th birthday. The entire staff has made his stay extra special. Hotel's always amazing. Staff exceptional! Valet service not even a 1 star:(. They became soo mean because I didn't want to valet my car. The jerk Andre told me I had to move my car into the lower basement parking garage PRIOR to checking in...so he tried to refuse me the courtesy of 10-15 min generally allotted in larger cities to at least let you get a room assignment first then go park( Both the Atlanta and NYC Westin allows for that). Great service! Very clean room with an exceptional view. Sent up a complimentary dessert and a nice note to help my wife and me celebrate our anniversary. It was a very nice personal touch.

Nice rooms and front desk's customer service was wonderful when scheduling reservations for family members that were coming in to visit for Memorial Day weekend. The only complaint that I have would be that my cousin was refused service when she ordered a drink (with alcohol) due to her forgetting her identification while packing for the trip... she looks well over 21 (she is 37) and I feel as though an exception could have been made considering the circumstances! We had a GREAT time elsewhere...

World class. Well worth 2 days pay to stay for a night. Uptowns a bit crazy for me. South End is home. But I'll send anyone looking to stay in the best hotel on the planet straight up college Street and let Q and the crew take it from there. -cm
Last weekend my wife and I had the worst hotel stay ever. Our daughter was graduating from Johnson and Wales University. Instead of having great memories of this day, we instead have nothing but bad ones! I have been in management for several years in food service industry, and this hotel doesn't know good customer service. I will let everyone on JWU campus know how the Westin treats people. The service was great- everyone was extremely friendly and helpful . The gym and pool were lovely but the spa is very limited. The best part is the NEW BALANCE workout gear plus sneakers they give you to use for $5! So pack Light !!
