I think this company offers a really poor business and customer services. Their policy is to drop you if you have an accident, it doesn't matter if is your fault or not. They are really happy to take your money but not to use that money to help you. The customer service principle of this company is poor, rude and in some cases discriminatory

I have been with State Farm for Auto Insurance for close to 40...yes that IS 40 years! In all this time they have had horrible customer service and claims departments but I suppose I have just been too lazy to switch. I see most all the reviews give 1 star so isn't that saying something to you State Farm!!! Are you paying attention!!! I think NOT! State farm client T boned my new 2019 Dodge Ram, would refuse to speak with me in English, unfortunately for her I have a witness. They delayed my witness statement for a month to try and not hear it and then labeled my vehicle as a 2018 instead of 2019 to protect their client who lied. They sent me to have repairs done and they were so poor even ruining the diamond paint on the entirety of the 75 thousand dollar vehicle so I had to sell it for a diminished value. They were absolutely amazing for us. Our car got totaled a couple days before Christmas, so the claim we filed understandably took a few days to get started. But once it was started, it only took them 6 days to finalize everything and pay it off. Customer service was great and our local agent is amazing. So happy to have State Farm.

On the night of 11/30/18 my basement flooded due to the sub-pump. Immediately, we called a plumber and spent $800 to install and replace a new sub-pump. We also went out and bought a dehumidifier and shop-vac to help reduce the water damage. Once the plumber was finished we called our State Farm Agent that evening and told him what occurred. He indicated that he would put in a claim and that someone should be calling within the next 2 days. Two days passed and no calls. I would give zero stars if I could! I will begin with December 11, 2018, when after more than several weeks we were informed that our claim was rejected. Before I lay out the event that took us to this point, it is relevant that you know that Joe Stauffer, my husband, was a reliable State Farm claim Rep. for 28 years. I had been with Farm Insurance for several years. After moving from out of state I attempted to purchase a policy in Ohio. The agent placed my vehicle on my policy twice and also placed my vehicle on another driver's policy. This caused the other driver's policy to cancel. When I brought it up to the representative at Betsy Warner State Farm I received no help or explanation. I then decided to cancel my policy. I had a really bad experience with state farm, their customer service is very bad. I had more than 7 member representatives from state farm on the phone, 2 of them hang up on me. One of the member representatives even told me that she does not care. They were not trying to help me, but they just wanted to argue. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE. I was in an auto crash3 weeks ago and was rear ended by one of your customers. An adjuster looked at my truck and issued me a check for repair. I took my truck, an Ford F-150 to W**** ******** **** in H********** ** for repair. There were other repairs found by W**** ******** after they began the work. Apperently they found a third needed repair and completed the third repair before contacting State Farm. My truck has been completed and ready for pick up for 2 days.
