This is in regards to the company as a whole. I was in an accident on 07/27/2018. I was determined to be at NO fault! On Monday August 12th we were made aware that we were charged for 3 Insurance points AND this was on my state driving record as an at fault accident. We have contacted State Farm Underwriting Department and they admitted they messed up. They only agree to refund us for the previous months we were overcharged. I called State far to report an accident that one of their policy holders caused and was given some of the worst customer service ever , first i was called the very next morning as the accident happened late the night before and was advised state farm was taking responisibility of the claim and to call them with my shop information, when i called back with the information i was directed to an assigned claims rep named Rosa C. she was a horrible rep advised because of limits they wanted me to go through my insurance file a cl... read more

I got hit by State Farm insured driver. I was driving on a green light on midlane. State Farm insured driver came into mid lane while making a right turn. The person hit my car right on top of my rear passenger tire. The insured lied and said that she made a complete turn and hit me. How did you come to my lane and hit me on my REAR tire if you supposedly made a complete turn? Did you not see me coming while you crossed a red light making a right turn? Ah feel a song com'n on! "Like a bad neighbor, State Farm don't care!" They refuse to fix our rotting floor upstairs because they think we should have known it was rotting! How much sense does this make? I think it's not about SENSE as much as it's about CENTS...and plenty of 'em in the pockets of State Farm. Oh, and they still owe us from a month ago for an over-charge. And did I mention how State Farm would NOT cover a fender-bender we had a few years back between my daughter's car and my own? Unfortunately our State Farm Insurance agent that we have had since 1991 passed away. Mr. Vargas took over this agency. What a HUGE disappointment! We find his office has rude staff and they are VERY disorganized. Very very disorganized. Made billing errors twice and caused us A LOT of aggravation and undue stress. They made the mistakes and WE had to prove that they made the mistakes AND their reply was basically "Oops". We changed agents but were very tempted to change insurance companies. Very disappointed in State Farm. I have been a customer for many years and feel hurt and betrayed by how they are treating a loyal customer. I can't get too specific as this post will not allow details. Basically, auto insurance not renewed due to minor accident by my teenage son, he backed up in line at a car wash going less than 5 mph and hit another car. After a major rain storm my power went out for 14 hours. Which in turn cause my sump pump to stop working, which in turn allowed about 4 in of water to accumulate in my basement. Due to the fact that it was a power outage I have insurance coverage for that situation. I called my agent afterhours left a message waited 3 days to hear back. When I did hear back it was the office saying we got your message someone will be in contact. Waited four more days to hear back. Horrible! They don't communicate with the customer. We was with State Farm for Approx. 30 years. For Approx. 30 years they took the insurance payment out of our checking. We did not realize you needed a special rider policy if your sump pump breaks and water backs up into your basement and causes damage. I would think this would be in every policy. Why did the agent not say that in those words. Very misleading. The agent had no empathy just accused us of lying. Trying to get our stuff fixed for free. So our geo thermal is tr... read more
