Horrible company!!! Had a warranty appointment scheduled to come to my residence for 2 weeks from the being of August 2022. The windshield cracked for apparent reason. Discovered after coming out of Dr.s Appointment. They came to my residences on 8/26/2022 from their office *************Their technical agent said it wasnt covered under warranty. ********** was previously fixed in *****, **** not even a year ago. I'm so DISAPPOINTED in my visit to Safelite today. From what I can tell my windshield replacement is just fine and this was my reason for coming. What I have an issue with is the technician broke my windshield wiper and didn't say anything. I couldn't call back up to the shop the same day because they closed at 6pm and I was finished at 5:50 pm. I discovered this on my ride home. Our window was replaced a few years back. when we came out of residence about 2 weeks ago there was an approx 18 inch crack in window. When talking about this problem with Safelite rep and asked why we had to pay a deductible again for this replacement we were told it wouldnt cover this. She said something must have hit it. For years we've spoken about how well Safelite has handled many situation, until 2 weeks ago. we attempted to have our windshield replaced by our local safelite. Once at the location we found out that they ordered the wrong glass. They told it could take up to 2 weeks or more to get the glass. We didn't like how our local safelite handled this so we opted to switch locations. My insurance company recommended this company. I called them and they came out to look at windshield. After examining the windshield told me I needed to replace it. The agent continued to order a replacement and rescheduled an appointment a week out. The day before it was to be installed they called and cancelled it because they didnt have the windshield. Its already been 10 days and they cannot reschedule me until another week out. I cancelled with this company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I spent 20 + minutes trying to find a way to leave a review for Safelite through their own website and even the service emails and texts sent for my service but found they have not made it possible. This should be a red flag in itself. My windshield was cracked from road debris and I immediately called my insurance who is contracted with Safelite. The lack of communication and professionalism on the business's end was deplorable. I had an appointment scheduled two weeks ahead of time on August 6th, which was rescheduled without my consent. Fast forward to the day of my newly scheduled appointment on August 16th, I was given the time frame of 8 am-12 pm to have a technician by the name of ******* arrive at my home.
