I googled the safelite number in search of repairs and possible replacement of a windshield. I called the number, after listening to a lot of automated msgs it finally referred me to the website. Once on the website i opened a chat with ******. ****** gave me another number and assured me there would be a human on that line. There was! This person told me to just go to the store to ask. What a total and complete waste of time. Before you even got a chance to screw-up at what you actually do, youve lost my business.

Be AWARE! Do not do business with the Safelite Location I have noted below.- they installed a windshield in my **** 250 pickup and broke the brackets to the dash. The installer did not know what he was doing so much so that we had to take the vehicle to their shop to put the trim on and the windshield I thought was rattling the whole trip over. It turned out to be our dash that was rattling. The installer pushed down so hard on the dash to get the windshield out that he broke the brackets **************** and the manager the... read more

Had a small, nickel sized crack in my windshield I wanted to get fixed, I only waited 4 days to get it fixed. The tech came out and told me he could fix it. What was a small ding turned into a 12 inch crack that went to the corner of my windshield. Was told this never happens and pretty much left it at that. I contacted many people and one woman told me I should have expected that would have gotten worse eventually anyways so it doesnt really matter. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Now I HAVE to get it fix... read more

have a 2021 **** exployer. Paid cash for a new windshield and calibration of it.******** Safelite since I am a 66 year old senior but was I wrong. When I picked up my car after the repair, I noticed the lane changed and crash protection was not working so I made a appointment to bring it back to them. The woman told me the part was OEM and sometimes the warning systems have issues with a OEM windshield vs a **** windshield.I called **** to ask this is true and said sometimes. Told me they calibration was $175.00 which I PAID $... read more

I first scheduled my glass replacement almost two months ago. The appt. was 2 weeks out. The day before the appt I got a call saying that since I needed OEM glass they would have to call me back when they received it. I got a call about 2 weeks later and scheduled an appt for them to come out to my place. (Another 2 weeks, fine). The day before this appt., they said because of the kind of car I have, I would have to bring my car to the shop. What? They always knew the kind of car I had and theyre just telling me now?

how can a company ask a costumer to wait 9 hours for service ?? i booked an appointment and the response was ... that they will come between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM . people have jobs and things to do . I think this company is too big and really don't care about the inconvenience that they pass on to their costumers . normally a costumer friendly company will give a costumer a window of maybe 2 hours to pick from !!!! this is terrible !!!!

If zero stars works, i would go that low. They damaged my car and have done nothing to fix the issue. The district manager has not returned calls either. A horrible operation from beginning to end. Buyer beware.....this company is worthless

This is not a complaint against Safelite as much as a warning.Back in **** I bought a brand new vehicle which sustained cracked windshield from traffic debris. I called Safelite and then sent out a satellite vehicle to repair it. Very efficient and was happy until it started to leak during a rain shower. Safelite replaced the windshield but, in doing so, scraped the clear coat under the windshield rubber when digging it out. About five years later I noticed rust forming around the windshield. Water had gotten under the seal ... read more
