0 stars for the Jeromes in Fountain Valley We had the worst experience possible with salesperson Melissa and Assistant Manager. We went in Saturday May 11, 2019 to purchase a bedroom set for my oldest son. We found it and went ahead with the purchase and set up delivery for Mother’s Day, on Sunday, The initial experience was very pleasant with Melissa, BUT the nightmare began early on Mother’s Day morning when my son receives a phone call from their warehouse at 8:00 am telling him his dresser was no longer available as it w... read more

WARNING: THE MATTRESS WAS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS ADVERTISED BY THE FEEL OF THE IN-STORE MODEL, and JEROME'S WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT . The mattress delivered to my home felt firm--not medium plush. It did not feel like a hybrid mattress at all. When I contacted the store, the salesperson asked me to wait for it to "break in." I've waited two months. It's still as hard as a rock. Jerome's will send a "technician" to see if there is any "defect," but unless THEY determine if it is defective, you are out of luck. Nothing will be... read more

Jeromes in El Cajon delivered the wrong type of couch and mattress. I was told by delivery that I had 5 day grace period. Couch and mattress are rock hard. I called and spije with a manager by the name of Heather who just said all sales are final. They didn't even try to make it right. Buyer beware!!!!

I had a great experience purchasing several pieces of furniture one was my couch which I was very happy with the bed was excellent mattresses excellent and that's where it went wrong. One of the modules on the loveseat went out and really simple to USB just need to be replaced it falls within the warranty I called the number the service number I believe and left a voicemail when I didn't get a response back after several tries I went down a store and was told by the front desk staff that there is no such number. We recently purchased a sectional from Jeromes. The experience that we had with the floor rep was great so we decided to go ahead and purchase our item there. Upon finishing the transaction the customer service rep went over the details for delivery and we specifically stated we would be home between 3pm and 9pm. Anything between that range would be fine. She said no problem i will make sure to notate for the delivery company (of course they use a 3rd party for deliveries, very easy to blame for mistakes). The day of deliver... read more

The middle of February I took my 2 sofa seat cushions to be redone. The springs were sagging even though I rotated them every month. The sofa is two and a half years old and still under warranty. I was told it would be 7 to 10 days. Ok I could sit on sofa springs for that long. On February 26 I received a call saying my cushions were finished and I should be receiving them no later than March 3rd. I waited and received no call notifying me that I could pick them up. I purchase a bedroom set and a few months later the finish on the dresser started bubbling up. They sent a technician out to take some photos and the tech that doesn’t even have any knowledge in defective furniture he said it’s not defective. He Is just a delivery guy. I will never do business with this furniture store again and I will spread the word about my experience with this furniture store.

I, too, am having a nightmarish experience with this company. I advise everyone never to purchase from this company. Their sales people sold me a combo of items that are not able to function properly together, i.e., a bed frame, electric base, and defective mattress. I’ve had to take numerous days off work for two different company’s techs to assess the issue and deem them incompatible. To get to this point had taken four weeks now. We bought a bedroom suite for two bedrooms and our sales person, Aaron, and the other touch points in customer service and delivery to all be exceptional. Quality is better than the price point! We are pleased with our purchases and will return to Jerome’s for more!
