When I turned to Jerome's Furniture to decorate my home I had horrible service; 1st. lost my items, 2nd forgot to load lamp shades 3rd. We have purchased furniture from Jerome's several times in the past without incident, but recently purchased a new king size mattress with an adjustable frame. AT the time we were told it would fit any headboard. The brackets are not strong enough to attach to our headboard, and the delivery people would not try to attach it. On the phone in trying to solve this problem we were told that no headboard would fit that frame even though it is displayed with headboards in the showroom. We purchased one of Jerome's high-end, house-brand, memory foam mattresses in the spring of 2015. In less than a year, it began to sag and hurt our backs. Per the 20-year warranty, we had to let a third party mattress inspector come inspect the mattress. The first time, he concluded that it was sagging, but not enough to trigger the warranty. Jeromes does not stand by its products. They talk you into purchasing an extended warranty and very few things are covered under the warranty. They also hire third party delivery drivers that are rude and clearly don't care about customer service. I would never purchase anything at Jeromes again.

I went into the El Cajon Store 2 days ago and picked out a love seat that my son was going to pay for. Raul talked to him on the phone and said that they could not take a payment over the phone, that my son would have to go on line to order it. His wife did so the following morning. I had high expectations on this furnitute store, eventually they fail to keep the 4 hour window given for delivery. What is the point to be here on time. They make it seem that the merchandise is in stock at the store when it comes from San Diego. Technology is so advanced, can't believe they rely only on a phone #, if that # was incorrect couldn't they try the email. They don't accommodate the client, they are in their idea that it all depends on their schedule. Not good service!!!
My wife and I recently purchased a Jerome's Gel Mattress last week however we found that it was too small. We reached out to Jerome's customer service and were advised no return, no exchange and was directed to Mira Mesa store where we purchased the mattress. We have been shopping at Jerome's for the last 28 years! On Sept. 23, 2016, we purchased a mattress and box springs set from the Murrieta, California store. We paid $2497.98 for the set. I purchased a sleeper sofa at the Anaheim location on 10/3/2016. I paid $400 cash for the order and remaining $290 debit/credit. I have yet to receive my item or the status of my order.
