I have only shopped at Jerome's once and will never set foot in the store again. I bought a moderately priced sofa and have had nothing but problems with it since I purchased it. They are now telling me that it's been over a year and will not replace the sofa with a different selection. Cushions constantly need to be replaced, and they even gave me a brand new sofa which is only 10 months old but they say that they go from the original delivery date and it's been over a year since I received the original sofa. My letter to Customer Service on November 15, 2016 This issue has not been resolved, however, the unaceptable and unprofessional customer service I have received to date can no be undone. I am attempting to be reimbursed by Progressive Leasing when I did not agree with the leasing terms at Jerome's Furniture Torrance store. That was over a week ago. Progressive Leasing charged my account $53 and has not reimbursed me for my canceled order. Progressive Leasing states they cannot reimburse me because a representative at the store told them that furniture had been delivered to my home address on 10/2/2016 -- not true! I went into the El Cajon locations, and after speaking to a really nice sells person I picked out a living room package that I was really happy with in June. I made a down payment on my layaway, and another payment there after. In July while I was strained in an airport I received a call from one of the store employee telling me I needed to make a payment on my account. I went into Jerome's today to purchase a new bed for my son for our new home. The only question I had for the sales person was the bed in stock? And he insured me that it was. So I paid cashed for the bed and was scheduled to pick it up in 2-3 days. Two hours later I get a phone call telling me that parts of the bed were not available and would not be in for 2-3 weeks.
