My husband and I recently decided to upgrade our bed from a queen to a king size. We were very excited, the lady who helped us was very kind, knowledgeable and patient with us the whole time as we were very indecisive. We decided on a very nice pricey mattress and an adjustable base (way over our budget). Our problem started when our bed set got delivered a couple days after that, which was a Sunday. I bought two beds from here. One has been fine and lasted. One has broken TWICE not in the same area (Thus the reason for my low rating combined with insurance sale). I have tried to get the bed fixed through the insurance sold to me by the Jerome's employee well.... ******** ********** IS A SCAM! Do not purchase anything from this company. This company is seemingly staffed by a bunch of baboons. I’m writing this review at 10:15 at night 5 days after they offered and I paid for ‘same day delivery’. Spoiler alert, I’m still waiting for my bedroom set and SDD is a complete scam. Not a single person I’ve called (not a soul at Jerome’s would take the time to reach out to a customer and inform them of a problem/delay) has been helpful. BY FAR AND AWAY THE WORST BUSINESS EXPERIENCE I CAN REMEMBER
Horrible mattress quality and service. Don't buy a mattress from Jeromes. They advertise exceptional quality and superb customer service but do not stand behind their advertising. We purchased a cal king mattress with an adjustable stand from Jeromes less than 2 years ago, spending over $3700. In addition, we also purchased the warranty. I wish I had looked at these reviews before trying to buy something from them. All reviews sound about right and how incompetent the staff is. I was in store and wanted a blue throw blanket, but it had a snag in it. The sales associate insisted I get a new one mailed to me, but he ended up sending me the wrong color. He sent a gray one instead. I called right away (and more than 7 times since then) and the store refuses to refund it or correct it. They have the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life!
I purchased a full sofa set from Jeromes back in 2015. We actually really enjoy the couch and it has been great. The part that is not great is the ******** Protection Plan. The plan is a scam and is a complete waste of money. I wish we would have done some research because with a simple search it is clear that these people look for anyway to NOT fix issues. I purchased a motorized chair with a 5 year warranty. It stopped working 9 months in. I called on a Thursday to get service, scheduled for Sunday. They said I would receive a call with a time frame for a tech. I have had no calls. I called Saturday and was told I would get a call buy 1pm, I received no call. February 10, 2018 I purchased a ***** ***** ******** and a ******** 5 year Furniture Protection plan from Jerome’s Furniture Torrance South Bay.
