Terrible, terrible, terrible. I ordered almost $2,600.00 of furniture and they charged my credit card just fine but I can’t get delivery. I have been trying “live chat” but “sorry, we are not online at the moment”. I have called at least 30 or more times but voice mail cannot take any more messages and they will not respond to emails. I can’t cancel my order as I can’t contact anyone. There is no recourse, no help.
This place is terrible, they have handled this COVID-19 situation about as poor as anyone can. I bought a couch on Sat to be picked up that following Friday. The store closes (which is fine) but no call, email or courtesy to let me know they are also not going to deliver. I have logged into their chat room everyday for a week to see it say "sorry we are offline" and have sent in 5 emails with no response. On the website it shows that they will deliver considering their showroom is closed but yet NO ONE has reached out to me ... read more
Poor customer service once they have your money. Quality and quality control are very poor. They delivered sofa with buttons not matching. Driver said we will fix that. I said NO. I didn’t buy new furniture that needs to be fixed. The coffee table had an obvious putty mark where they attempted to fix. It. Where’s the quality control. How can u ship this junk to someone’s. House. So they have my money but I don’t have my furniture. Amazing
Unfortunately, I am writing another poor review about the customer service. We purchased a sectional couch with consoles that support USB and outlet use. We also purchased the extended warranty. Within the first year, the USBs stopped working and two of the consoles had broken frames (The broken frame was not major. It was a small area where you rest your arms). I USED to be a frequent customer at Jerome's, I recommended family and friends to this franchise, but unfortunately will not do so anymore. I've bought so much.... a sofa set, mattress set, my husbands and I bed set and last my daughter's first bed set. We purchased our first home, & were really excited to get our daughters room beautiful, and special. Horrible customer service. Will never buy from them again.. 6x I’ve waited for a service to be completed. Picked up, dropped off(not fixed) picked up again.. 3x they said they would deliver the fixed piece and each time the delivery guy thought he was picking something up.. waste of everyone’s time. Still waiting on a call from a manager. Such horrible communication within a company..
Regretfully, I will not disparage Jerome's Furniture with bitterness but I will be transparent when I say that service is not a priority for this business. However, caution yourself with the warranty offer because it is simply a wasteful added expense. Budget quality is not meant to last and adding a warranty is similar to placing a bandage over a wound in need of sutures. The warranty company collects rather than protects. Beware-Beware-Beware! Hands down the worst customer services I've ever experienced. The sales people are nice because they're trying to get you to buy but after that, terrible. They will blatantly lie to you, not show up for deliveries and appointments, and then tell you that it was your mistake. They literally screwed up the delivery date/time 4 times and then also missed their service appointment. They have no respect for their clients and their product quality is mediocre at best. Avoid this place like the plague.
