As someone who is still without power I wanted to say thank you. It can't be expected with an event of this size to be back up and running within a day or so. Mandarin with the beauty we enjoy each day always comes with the price of waiting for power to be restored. If only everyone was judged so harshly on the job they do each day. I'm sure most aren't giving near the effort. Thank you!

We had a JEA representative come by our property last night around 9pm to look at the damage. He said "we'll be out first thing in the morning". I'm not sure what time zone he was referring to or exactly which morning, but the assumption would be the following morning. It's now 11:08pm. It's morning somewhere. If he would have told me that it was going to be a couple of days, I wouldn't have liked it, but at least I could have prepared for it. Thankful for all the crew who spent hours away from family and friends to restore 200,000+ outages over the weekend.
It's amazing how certain zip codes and certain parts of the city got power on faster than others. My ticket says assessing situation with no truck anywhere near my location. Explain that JEA.
