Now Wednesday, with no power and not a truck in sight. Misinformation and out right lies from JEA
It was a bit rocky, but it was taken care of and we have power tonight! Thanks JEA and Ms Carla Foster for being on top of it!
JEA was in my neighbourhood three times between the Thursday we lost power and Sunday night, when we got it back. We had over a dozen huge trees down -- all of which took out power lines. At least two lines were on the ground on every street. Poles were snapped in half. Linemen worked past 10 pm restoring power to our neighbourhood. They've done a great job in a very hard situation!
Although I was without power for sevseveral days, I think jea has done an excellent job in gettng power restored. It's sad, some people would complain even if they were hanged with a new rope. Good job guys. Thanks
Thanks so much for getting my power restored yesterday! Looks like most of Girvin had to have new lines hung. Great job!
These men and women have been working non stop since Hurricane Matthew. I have seen them, worked somewhat beside them, and know they are doing everything they can to restore power. I don't care that the upper management is out of touch with what is happening and allowing bad information. I won't allow that to reduce the work the men are doing on the front lines (no pun intended).
So I got a text from JEA saying that our power was on. Not! Then a text saying that it will be on by 7:11 AM tomorrow morning. How? There are still two downed wires on my street and a third wire with the tree still on it. I understand that it takes time but get it together JEA! Stop making promises you can't keep.
JEA has a 3.2 star rating with 1,268 reviews.
JEA is closed now. It will open on Monday at 7:30 a.m.
