Worst company ever, charging customers twice and place the blame on them and state that need the bank to call it a mistake, looking for a lawyer to sue
Jea is nothing but thieves, they not only charge for the electric we use but they also charge a 1. 08 a day just to use their service, which nobody sees because it's hidden in the bill. Then whatever big profits they make the higher-ups give them self big bonuses rather than giving the money back to the customers. then if you ask for one extra day to pay your bill they won't even give it to you . Been a customer with JEA for several years little longer I'm in a payment arrangement on the 22nd of June which is Thursday I get paid Friday called customer service saying it would be 2 hours past midnight when I'm able to pay on it because I just had a child and things got a little tight and they cannot even work with me for two hours until my check clears in the bank they tell me I will not be disconnected but I would have to pay the full account balance of 600 something dollars very very disappointed in JEA it is very sa... read more
Lived here 15 years, bills paid on time, recently moved and paid a $10.00 connection fee. Called to have have bill put in my name- needed to a soft credit check-really past history was not enough-then C/S rep wanted to know when I would want service started, I have had service since I moved in April and then there is an additional charge of $25.00 to connect-even though I am already connected. It's a shame that the online payment system -- and now the "new JEA" site -- has a glitch regardless of whether I am paying by Kubra or by bank account info, as every JEA representative that I have spoken with over the phone has helpful and courteous.
Constant issue...power outages at least once a month and almost every time it rains.
The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my entire life with a company via telephone! I hate this is the only option for utility services in my area! SO rude! An outright disgrace with customer service!

i had a recent experience with JEA specifically Chris Reed. we were incurring water pressure issues and Chris was very thorough with explaining everything he had to do to correct the issue which he and his team did. very informative and the followup was tremendous. proud to have JEA as a partner.
