Poor job at fixing the street lights in our area in Julington Creek. Not a priority to JEA
This review solely has to do with an exceptional employee who deserves recognition. I work as a valet at a restaurant in Jacksonville. On Christmas Eve I was working, going on 70 hours between two jobs that week, with many stresses going on in my life. I did not catch the name of the technician that came to take care of a burst water pipe today but, he could not have been a better representative for your company. My five stars are for him, not an overall company rating. He presented himself as happy to be working and took ownership of my situation, with a great attitude, to resolution. He saved the day. I hope you reach out to find out who it was and give him recognition.
I really just wanna know why the deposit for new service is 359.00 thats a car note and they wont even bill it to you like wtf brah....
We don't have problems with electricity or their serviceswhen you call or need them but yes with the water due to the exaggerated charges of the sewer. That really is a problem. JEA should look into this and lower the charges In other cities, states and countries it's charge is almost 50% or more less than what JEA charges here in Jacksonville!!! A little abusive don't you think!!
I just had what could have been an extremely destructive mishap be redirected by JEA's save the day, James. He came to the rescue after we had an emergency water valve break outside our home at 8:30 this evening. I had him on the phone, trying to explain our problem and he didn't just offer, he told me blatantly I am on the way. So our power was cut after 3 days missing a payment. My bad, but no warning whatsoever that our service will be disconnected. It's been 6 hours since not having any power. What a terrible company.
So I just got off the phone with JEA I originally called to set up a payment arrangement and spoke with a woman by the name of Maria who was nothing but rude. When I told her she was being rude her response was okay well like I was saying and she carried on with her conversation I again let her know she was being rude and ask to speak with a different agent or her supervisor her response was absolutely and she transferred me to your online payment system where I ended up having to hang up and call back.
