I grew up in Jacksonville. I have been without power in Quincy, FL for 10 days since Hurricane Micheal. The JEA is here this morning working on restoring power to MY house. I’m so thankful for their willingness to help!
Literally not a cloud in the sky yet 1300 people are without power. We have regular outages FOR NO REASON.
over charges people. adds every extra charge they can to your bill and then have terrible customer service. I wish I could choose my electric company but until I love I'm stuck with them
JEA is nothing short of shady and will hit you with any fee they can possibly can. Even if they make a mistake you will be the one paying for it. More than once they have double and even triple charged my account leaving me to pay payment return fees and occurring fees from my banking institution. JEA does not care about you.

The worst. Customer service is always awful.
JEA customer service SUCKS. They WILL double charge you on a payment and MAKE YOU pay a refund fee for their screw up! I wouldn't even move to Jax strictly because of their customer service!
They truly care about all of their customers. They give to the community everyday!
