Our family has had continual service without concern since the 1960's. Through a turn of events (bill was paid and up-to-date), JEA cut the power at the pole leaving 6 homes without water Fri., Sat, Sun,Mon,Tue,Wed. (Can't flush toilets or bathe).Still wondering if we'll get water today. (Pump run by electricity). When called to talk to a supervisor after 4 days with no water, was told there was no available supervisor in house and I would be put on a call list for the supervisor. No word yet after 5 days... This has been a ... read more

Had to give $500 deposit when signed up because I was new to the country. I’ve paid on time, on recurring payments for more than 2 years & am now entitled to my money back. But they won’t send it me. JWA won’t answer my emails, telling me to call. When I call they tell me my request has been logged, but they won’t refund my money. They want to hold on to it & not charge me until I used it up, which will take approx 6 months. It is my money & I am entitled to it back. Why not just be honest about it?

JEA charges you extremely high compared to other companies in local counties. Unfortunatly this is the only company that services our area. Was gone all weekend turned AC off and pool pump off and Wi-Fi and still somehow used a crazy amount of electricity. They just installed new meters so hopefully that will change something but I doubt it.

Moved here from Tampa which had great customer service and you can solve issues over the phone. Attempted to solve a problem over the phone with JEA with rude customer service and was told I have to go all the way Downtown and hopefully resolve it in person after being threatened of being fined for a service I never authorized or used.
