I have made 3 calls for a supervisor to follow up on a billing issue and still have not received a call. I tried to submit an online contact and even tried to schedule an appointment to meet with a supervisor to no avail. Update 3/19/2018 - waited on hold for a manager over 30 minutes. Representative assured me one of three managers would call me today. Still nothing.

There is always an issue with their website in order to pay bills. Then to top it off they charge a fee to pay your bill. I thought paying the bill was the fee! Then when i call to let them know there is an issue with their website they say well we can help you and you can just pay it over the phone JUST FOR ANOTHER FEE! Seriously!! you charge a FEE for everything. How the hell is this "Building Community" you mean "Bankrupting a Community". This place is a scam and this company should be sold because they simple can't maint... read more

Isn't JEA owned by the tax payers. If so, put it on the ballot and let the tax payers make the decision to sale JEA or not.

I just had a JEA customer service Manager try to school me on how to pay my bills. I explained to the Manager our situation and that their payment portals are down. I stated we can not get to a payment center at this time and if their is anyway she can stop the disconnection. She stated she could not. I understood why not, but wasn't happy. What made me very upset was how she then tried to speak to me like I was 5 and tried to school me on how I should pay my bills. She had no compassion for our for our situation. Sometimes ... read more

CRIMINAL!!! FRAUDS!!!! THEY HAVE NO OVERSIGHT!!!! Ridiculous policies to "identify" myself to get power turned on. I have had an account with JEA over 10 years and they refused to turn on power until I showed them my birth certificate and license (do you know in Florida you just need your license to get your birth certificate)! THEN after jumping through their hoops to get power turned on, they start charging me for power I am not using and water I am not using! (I know I am not using it because the power is off at the box a... read more
