JEA doesn't care about anyone. There is no one else that we can turn to for electricity so they have the monopoly here. They previously advertised that they are a non profit organization. That has changed. Now, they have a credit system so if you've had trouble paying the bill, they will just slap a large "deposit" fee on your next bill. They care about money. Plain and simple.

MONEY HUNGRY, basic charges are complete bullshit, I shouldn’t have a $20 charge on my water AND electric bill just for having an account. I should be paying for my usage and taxes not any bullshit fees that add $50 towards my bill.
