I had good and bad experiences with iSolved. Their benefits teams are much better than a year ago and their tax team is improving slowly. At the end, they are better than other providers especially in regards to customer service.
Isolved company fits our business needs, some areas need improvement like onboarding process and app usage but overall we haven't had too many issues

It is unfortunate that others have had such negative experiences with iSolved. Our smaller payroll company that we were using was bought out by iSolved in 2019 and we have had nothing but amazing experiences with this company. I have been doing payroll for my current company for 7 years, and it has never been better than with these last few years with iSolved. ISolved has been a great improvement over the competitor I switched from. Their customer service is easier to reach and is generally pretty responsive. Their certified payroll reporting is significantly better. They could improve their benefits coordination with carriers. The carrier feeds took way longer to implement than originally promised and they don't coordinate with 3rd party COBRA administrators at all. We have been using Isolved for 4 years now, and do not have any complaints. I have always been able to get questions answered, sometimes yes it takes a bit to get a response, but if it is very important, I am able to get my questions answered same day. It is definitely not a beginner software; you need to know a little and we do have a few work arounds we need to do so it fits with our strange schedule. Overall, it is a good tool for our company.
We are a small business. We have used isolved for about 8 years. We have always found them to be responsive and helpful. We confirm payroll each pay period and we are confident that it is done right. Several times a year, we require various reports. We usually forget how to get the specific reports that we need, so we call them to get help. They always respond right away.
The weekly people are friendly, but never talk to the same ones. I receive too many emails, not necessary to let me know payroll is due the next day, I know! Cost keep raising too!
