We are having a wonderful time! Yes, the hotel is older and I am sure some rooms are better than others! We have a family of 6 and are staying in a loft! Room is very clean and has plenty of space! I came with low expectations from reading reviews but I am so glad we took the chance! Every employee here has been accommodating, kind and knowledgable! DO NOT EVER BOOK A FAMILY SUITE HERE!!!! It's not a suite!!!! It's a regular old nasty dirty crappy room with a partition in the middle!!! The tv doesn't even work nothing looks like it does online so don't be fooled by the pictures!!! They moved us to an ocean front room but we had to pay $200 more dollars!!! It was horrible! We were put in the wrong room, then got moved. I asked for 2 beds PLUS a pull out and got one bed and pull out. Then, the ac breaks. And they can't change it, so the bring us a single fan. I will NEVER stay there again! It was just one thing after another. And the pool was over crowded and absolutely disgusting!
Checked in at 3.00 p.m. checked out 3.05 p.m due to bed bugs. Nasty, dirty room. And I was going to pay 154.00 a night for a cabana room.
Stayed in room 334 on 6/24/16 and had to pack and leave in the middle of the night when we found bedbugs in the kids bunkbeds. I have pics but can't find a way to post them on this page.
Rooms are disgusting! Easily comparable to an overpriced Motel 6 and frankly I've stayed at a Motel 6 that is better than this. Our "hotel" room door didn't even close properly (it had sunlight coming through on all sides) so the cheap in the wall a/c unit barely kept the room cold since all the cold air went right out the cracks in the door. Mold on lamps. Mold in A/C unit. Thank God for Lysol. Run down. Most guest questionable !!!!
Our room was nothing like the website. Carpet was old, dirty and chuncks were missing. The bathroom was disgusting, mold around tub and behind door was filthy. Half the outlets didn't work and the old style wiring boxes were rusty. The only positives were the great pool, beach access and location.
So much for a nice getaway! The picture on the website that I fell so desperately in love with is no where near to what my husband and I walked into! We were suppose to have a romantic view of the beach front...NOT! Instead we had a view of a cracked up parking lot! The room was old, the ceiling had cracks all across it, and the tv was a box tv!
