So far ... not good. Couldn't open out door til security came (they were stuck) -air conditioning not working in our room - food in the floor- bathtub drain doesn't work. We are here on a family vacation before kids start school and husband goes out to sea. The only reason we booked it is because it is close to the beach, the pool and the bar/restaurant, so my hub and I can hang out. No blanketa or anything or extra pillows for the kids pull out couch. It's was nice to be right on the beach and have a fun pool for us and the kids. However, the pool slides were ripping at the bottom, only one of the water cannons worked, took forever to order and get my hotdog and fries at the pool bar, the room was a lot smaller than it looked in the picture, there was a crack in the counter but the sink, the tub wasn't draining fast enough so by the end of my shower the water was over my ankles. Stayed here for a week with my family, just left today. I found this resort on Groupon so my expectations were very low. The rooms are pretty outdated and had some issues, but I've seen way worse! The pools were awesome! Our entire family enjoyed them, especially the pirate pool. Everywhere we ate, on and off site, the food was perfection! I believe they are in the works of being bought out, so we anticipate some nice upgrades. Advertising and making the place a little more approachable from the road would help a lot. After booking, I read the reviews and got very nervous. However, we had a wonderful time and our room was great! We were able to check in early... When we got to our room it was rather hot to be set on 60 degrees so we called the desk. Within 3 minutes, 2 workers came and checked the air out and said the unit had froze. They radioed the front desk and asked if we would like to check out the room next door. We moved rooms with no problems. That room was great. This hotel was AWFUL! It is most certainly not a "resort" as advertised. We booked this based on the nearby hotel suggestions on the Kennedy Space Center site and we could not be more disappointed with the selection. Some of the issues were garbage and old furniture stacked up around the grounds, overflowing garbage cans in the walkways, the room stunk of bleach, the tub didn't drain when showering, the room was dirty (moldy grout, old popcorn kernels on the floor, etc.), the air conditioner was very loud, loud people were w... read more
We had a blast the house keeping staff was nice and pretty quick. The building needs some thc but we werent in the room much so its fine
Outdated rooms, mold in bathrooms, saw straight through the bathrooms ceiling vent. Pool wasn't clean. But great location for being on the beach.
