The rooms are falling apart at least the one I was in. I even got locked in the bathroom because the door handle was broken. Despite the run down buildings, they were the cheapest hotel around at the time. ( You get what you pay for) This hotel is located right on the beach, and has some cool things like fire pits for s’mores. Anyways the price was right and they offer a park and stay for cruisers. Parking is $5 per day and the shuttle was $10 each way. That beats the coast of parking at the port. I would not recommend this ... read more

Sitting in our room right now with heat that won’t go over 65. It’s 49 degrees out. I have a small child in here that has clothing layered to stay warm. The room looks NOTHING like the pictures posted online. If I could attach photos I would. For the price this is ridiculous. The bathtub is downright scary. We can hear every single little sound outside. If there was another room open at a different hotel right now we would be going to it. Agradable y limpio. No me gustó que el baño no tenia extractor de olores, habia articulos de aseo personal. Tuve que ir a solicitarla a la recepción.

We booked this hotel with a fly, snooze, cruise package. We got there and after checking in we were told we'd have a loooong walk to our room. It was at least a 5 minute walk with all of our luggage. On our way to the room we came across some people fighting quite heatedly outside. Made us feel pretty unsafe. Then we lugged our luggage up a flight of stairs because there are no elevators. I have never felt so unsafe in a resort/hotel/motel! We had to switch rooms because our door wouldn’t close and had pretty much the same issue in the second room. If you didn’t manhandle the door handle, the teeth wouldn’t engage and lock. Also there are no plates on the door frames, just huge holes, which screams burglar friendly to me. I hardly slept and at one point assumed/ mistook my husband was someone who got into our room. The quality was insanely low. We checked in to room 1180 on Friday, 11/25. The room reeked like the maids had just finished smoking marijuana. We asked to be moved. We were moved to room 1184. There were dead roaches on the floor in the bathroom (I have pictures). The air conditioner didn’t work and was completely frozen (I have pictures). When we called again maintenance put a pan and a towel under the air conditioner to catch the water (I have pictures) and said don’t use the air conditioner.
