This company is a slum lord. I have lived at one of their properties for over three years. If you put in a maintenance request, you are told, we dont have that in stock , we have to order it, and the request is closed. My Heating and air conditioning unit has not worked for over 10 days. They are violating the Landlord Tenant Act. When contacted to see the status there is no response.

Living at the senios complex for seven years, but in the last three years since avenue5 has taken over has been a nightmare. Unethical practices at *********** seniors complex in *******, *****. Was offered to renew my lease in July 2023 for ******* a raise from ****** but waited until August 2023 and the price had gone up to ******* for the same unit. Learned from some of my neighbors white and hispanic that their rent was renewed at ******* and the blacks rent renewed at *******. Informed corporate office about the matter ... read more

I lived at these apartments for about three years and the management has always been subpar. However, we have a new management company and this one is even worse than the one they had before I'll give you an example of a fraud that they committed. I mistakenly left the water on with the sink plug and caused a water situation. We were able to get it cleaned up and everything's fine now the manager emailed me and saying that I would be responsible for the charges of renting the dryers etc and I will let you know what the amoun... read more

I am glad that the Westlyn is a historic landmark although I didn't like getting picked on by security people, and you bet **************** notified me that the newspapers stench was in the building, that **** was going on every night. So getting these Catholic- charities' schemes late in 2022, and the Volunteers of America's offer for Northern ****** in 2023 in the winter is a mega scretch, because I don't need the Holy Bible to get a job. I don't have to use a shelter normally, nevermind for very much longer.ConAm made sur... read more

When they took over the Parkwood Apartments in *******, things were okay. They changed the name to ********** and had a really nice property manager. Then after sis months, residents received emails that they had changed property managers. And since then it's been a c*** show. Random homeless people hanging out by the pool and hot tub. How do they get in there if you have to have a key or know the code? In my building, there are basically squatters (which is the previous tenants kid and her horde of random homeless people). ... read more

NEGLIGENT AND CARELESS MANAGEMENT. Less than a week after moving into one of their properties my car and several others were broken into because the garage gate was broken. Apparently this happens very frequently as they do not maintain the garage gate for functionality. Management is behaving like their hands are clean, though they neglected to increase security patrols or any other security measures while the gate was broken. Of course, the lease is designed to protect them from any liability and for that reason, they do n... read more

I moved to ******* about 10 months ago after my employer had gone out of business. I had very limited time to sell a home in another state and move here for a job. I found Desert Mirage apartments and signed a fourteen month lease with the previous property management company. Recently I discovered that the actual market rent for the two bedroom unit that I am in is more than $400 less than I am paying. My lease is not up until November but thought I would reach out to see if they would be willing to do the right thing and r... read more

You should not, under any but the most dire circumstance, sign a lease at Ironwood. Here are some reasons why.Currently Ironwood has more than 25 two bedroom units coming available by the end of the year. There is good reason for this, it's because no one wants to stay here.By default, Ironwood will attempt to increase your rent 10% after your first lease term. Don't accept it, move elsewhere. After attempting to increase rent, property management had to drop it again because it was absolutely outside market range for the un... read more
