Very, Very Bad customer service....I had a damaged piece in my box and also 4 small 'bolts' missing. Sent IKEA an e-mail awith part number, etc like it said to do in FAQ...said they would respond to e-mail in 72 hours.....NOT SO !!!!! Tried calling local store have been on HOLD for 25 minutes.
Looks like I am not the only person who thinks their customer service sucks! Love IKEA products but the customer service at IKEA Charlotte is the worst I have ever experienced.
Ikea Charlotte has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought twlo bedrooms. The order was pulled incorrectly, items were missing from the order, a bed was damaged when delivered, and another bed was improperly assembled. I went to the store today to exchange incorrect item. I told them the only way to satisfy me would be to deliver and assemble incorrect item free of charge. The only thing they offered was a gift card to reimburse my mileage for driving there. I am totally pissed at ikea ,I have spent a couple thousand dollars in this store in the last yr or to, and I travel form cola sc to charlotte to do so I will never take that drive again,ikea refused to send me missing parts that they left out of packaging, so I had to pay for them a second time by ordering them online if I wanted to use the product.
10 to 12 people in line on a weekday. Ikea phone numbers do not work. Shitty customer service!
Went to IKEA charlotte tonight (sunday evening around 6pm). Found the employees uncharacteristically unfriendly and after waiting in line to check out for 10 mins without moving, we gave up and left our cart there. Every line had at least 5 people waiting, the cashiers were visibly annoyed and unpleasant, and there were IKEA employees standing around and doing nothing.
I love Ikea. I love their prices. We did go yesterday (Sunday) and that was a BAD idea... the line for food was really long! People were friendly and they kept it moving though. The cashier was an older lady and was not polite. My biggest frustration is the HORRIBLE "customer service" line. I tried three times to get through on the 'local' store line, and had to listen to a bunch of rambling information, then transferred to my local store (which is the number I called anyways), then had to listen to the same rambling informa... read more
Tried to buy a kitchen. People there were little help. Told us to go figure out for ourselves what to order after we told them we wanted it just like the display. We could not navigate the computer, so guess what......we walked out with nothing! Seems to me they would have a master list for the components of their display!
