Minimum 2 hour hold times for customer service... 72 hour minimum waits for email responses that may, or may not, even happen... Can't get through to the Charlotte store because no one ever answers the phone and you just sit on hold indefinitely... IKEA has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced and it is totally unacceptable. I will never shop IKEA again.
I love the store. I love the products. But why can you not figure out the check out?? I've never waited less than half an hour to check out. Four lanes (maybe!) open on a Sunday afternoon?? And always at least 5 employees just standing around while the lines stretch all the way thru the warehouse.
Very hot inside the store. They are doing a major remodel I guess. The entire bedding area was shut down AND closed off, so I couldn't get what I came for. When I told the very uncaring cashier, she was un respondent to my customer issues. Next please....
How is a person supposed to report a missing item when they cannot reach a human being on the phone? I've been disconnected twice after long hold times, and cannot get through. Beyond infuriating.
Why only 2 registers open? 20 minutes to check out? If not for that would be 5 stars!
Want to buy a Galant desk that is not available online, but appears to be in stock in Charlotte. Have been trying all day to reach a human via phone to confirm availability before a 3-hr round trip, to no avail. Really irritated, Ikea.
