Scam artists. Woke me up from a dead sleep requesting to see my energy bill so they could verify that I'm getting the lowest possible rates on energy & then had me sign their paperwork verifying that I was going to get this low rate locked in for the next year & it couldn't be raised & save me money.....What they DIDN'T TELL ME was they were taking information off my energy bill to sign me up for an account with them & thats what I was actually signing & those "lower" locked in rates were actually twice as much as I was curr... read more

IGS keeps harassing me about what the new supplier company I chose is charging. I know what the new company is charging- that is why I picked them. This man from IGS has called more than once going on and on about prices to the point I just blocked the number.

I've been very happy with IGS Energy over the last 2 years. The door to door sales person caught me off guard, but I had them leave the information with me so I could research it on my own. I do think they were pushy about wanting me to decide right then and I had to be firm in my 'No'. After research, I decided to switch my electric and gas to IGS Energy. This Company is overcharging Senior Citizens for their gas supply. Please find an alternate supplier if at all possible.

SCAM ARTISTS. Represented themselves to be working for Duke energy. Got information and switched the electric to their company. Rep made a mistake and left a card, "**** *********". Took advantage of the elderly.

An IGS Energy agent came by my parents' home today in an unmarked car, pushing a hard sell to my father to sign a contract for gas and electric utility services. The entire interaction took place on the front porch in freezing December temperatures and ended with my father signing a contract. IGS Energy purchased a utility company that previously provided service to my parents and the agent was attempting to convert their natural gas contract and to also gain their business as electric customers. Door-to-door rep rung the bell at 5:45 pm. Reaked of pot smoke. Wanted to change my rate plan. I said I'm happy with what I currently have. He became upset with me for not wanting to switch the plan. I reasserted that I'm happy with what I have. He spun on his heels & walked away shaking his head in anger. No courtesy in his interactions even though he's ringing MY front doorbell. I don't want any more reps sent to my house.

I was a loyal customer with IGS for years with my gas, electric & warranty. I always renewed my gas & electric at the same time. As soon as both expired & I chose a cheaper supplier they claimed I breached one of my contracts early & made me pay $99.00. I was going to always keep their warranty. However, their dishonesty, non loyalty, terrible customer service…run clear of this supplier!!! I will never recommend them to my friends & family! Thank you for reaching out. IGS shows on 9/03/2021, a call was made to IGS and the gas rate was locked in for 36 months with an early termination fee of $99.00. This contract is still valid. This is why IGS is charging an early termination fee. If you email Choice@igsenergy.com we will be happy to send this call to you. The electric contract renewed to a month to month rate.
