I was totally blindsided by Monumental Solar who approached me first. After asking about cancellation policy. I was told that after 5 years I could cancel have solar panel. I wasn’t told about any buyout amt an then another payment amt. so recently I decided to sell my house I’m being told that I can never ever remove these solar panels and I can’t transfer them, they are literally stuck to the house for life. We have reviewed the account and see that the customer currently has a potential buyer for the home, and we are working with both parties to transfer the contract. As outlined in the contract that was signed in March of 2020, the customer can purchase the system after year 5 to cancel out the contract. Putting customers first is our priority and we will continue to work with this customer to ensure a successful transfer of the contract, upon the sale of her home.
If i could give less than 1 star i would, this company is full of ****, *****, ****** **** who do literally nothing but feed you a load of crap. Save your money and time and go through someone else. They raise your rate while its a fixed amount and will come after your money anyway they can.

Don't use them, they lie, lied to my face and took advantage. Then when I got the first bill they would not cancel without a $400 fee. My grandchildren live with me and I now have to spend grocery money on my very large energy bill. The amount goes up every month, paying over $150 more than before. Called and they did not care they were taking food out of the mouths of children. Greedy lies, should be so ashamed!!!

I agree with **** L...IGS Energy are scam artiest. A door to door representative came into our neighborhood, representing IGS. He was very pleasant. He told me how I could save money if I 'bundled' our electric and gas. With high prices on everything, I was all about saving money. He asked to look at our last billing cycles. He stated again that we would save money...by bundling. I was SO EXCITED! We got our first bill for gas and with our new CCF rate, we paid $65 MORE than if we hadn't changed from Direct Energy. My representative presented himself as being with the city and that I had to sign up to make sure that my rates did not increase. My rates are triple what they were on record for last year. I tried calling customer service and they claimed that because I opened my email that I could not cancel without penalty. I told them that their representative that came to my door misrepresented himself as being sent by the city, when in actuality, he was not. Igs sucks taking advantage of elderly and whoever they want.my mom's gas bill actually only 93 bucks but igs charged her 293.00. so if ya want to get rid of igs they want to charge you a huge fee for that too. So how do ya live when they charge you that. Guess that bill won't be paid. It's the same with her electric bill. To me they scammer's.

Very misleading and pushy salesman at my door. Made me believe that something was wrong with my Nipsco account and asked to see my last bill/account. Used the phrase “Nipsco hasn’t contacted you yet” in regards to something ‘being wrong’ with my Nipsco bill. Very confusing and represented himself as working for Nipsco.

Guy came to door and saw that we had ring and gave his pitch to our doorbell. He wanted to see if we “Qualify”! I decide if I qualify, not him! Glad I qualified to not answer my door! I rate his professionalism a minus 1 star!
