I've had pretty much the same situation occur that everyone else is describing on here. I did not get the guys name (I wish I had), but he shows up at my door in a normal car. There was no company car or markings. He says Duke Energy sent him out because there were inserts in my bill that I hadn't responded too that needed to be taken care of. trash business and monopoly scam, promising better rates for already struggling americans then your bill goes through the roof how dare bbb and ohio even let a company like this exist with the clear gutter trash that it is.

We were not connected for over 2 months, when we finally realized it , i called to be told that we needed to wait about 5 business day before something would change. Meantime they didn't reimburse for the months we were connected. they said that they have too many account to be able to see if everyone is connected, I thought "Hire more people" . but no, they collect money but they are not there for their clients and that's not the way you conduct a business .I will not recommend this company to anyone
I was approached by a door to door representative oF igsenergy on my way to work one morning. Being a polite civilian i asked him to come back another day, on his second return we agreed to meet on my day off. He returned on a Saturday morning but I'll be honest, I had my reservations because he was insisting on seeing and photographing my electric bill. Tell me how it makes sense that I’m paying for these panels on a house that I don’t even live in anymore??? Now, in all fairness, this is more on my dumb realtor for not including the transfer paperwork in the sale of the house, but still. IGS should still be able to work with me here on a resolution so I’m not paying for someone else’s electric for the next 20+ years. Highly disappointing to say the least.
This company is terrible they let other people sign a contract for other people's bills and then don't hold themselves accountable for when they get busted because I've been fried it out of $900 at least this year because of somebody else signing a contract for my bill this company is morally wrong but I guess in Ohio is legally right so they don't hold themselves accountable thank you

I was informed that they would expedite the removal of my Solar Panel by Momentum Solar in Florida, and they are taking their suit time, I paid half of the money for the removal and replacing my IGS solar panels so that I may repair my roof in Central Florida and they give the answer that they are scheduling it for from 2 to 5 weeks. can I break the lease agreement? because I am not getting the service that I need quickly.

These scammers will act like they work with the city, when pressed they say you need to update your IGS account, which we don't have. They're going door to door scamming people, plain and simple.

I was in an online class so I was in a hurry and fell for their scam, which I am kicking myself for now. I am paying more with their “better” rates. Their door to door representatives were pleasant, but what they told me about better rates was far from the truth. Even after looking at my bill, they told me their rate was better than what I had, which it wasn’t.
