I believe it was 2016 when they rudely showed up at my door. I was putting up my Christmas tree which you could see from the window. They pretended to be with Duke Energy, acting like I could save money on my gas and electric ****. They raised their rates, 3xs what Ohio ****** charges. (When we signed up with them in 2016 they said they would always be lower than OH ******, but that was a lie). We got an electric **** that is 3xs what we normally use, and they will not adjust it. They said they sent out notices, but we did not get one. I have informed delivery from the post office and went back and they did not send us a notice. They said they sometimes look like junk mail. Sorry to hear you are not please. The month to month product your contract renewed to followed the market price.. The market prices of electric and gas has increased over the last few months.
My **** was 80 a month for gas and electricity. Signed with IGS and it went to 250 then the next two months it was at 350. I didnt use any more gas or electric. I talked to IGS and the guy on the phone laughed at me. He wanted to know if peco told me to leave IGS . IGS ripped me off. My friend sold me on this IGS ********. Ill stay with peco from here on out. IGS robbed me and lied to me and laughed at me over the phone. There is nothing funny about it when I am fighting to make ends meet. Big rip off! I would give no stars for IGS if allowed and a 2-thumbs way down icon. I am retired but work a parttime job as a cashier in a grocery store to supplement my income. I was home one afternoon, a clean-cut professional looking young man knocked on my door, I did not let him in my apartment, but stepped outside to talk. He said he was going around my neighborhood to see if people wanted to pay less on their gas and electric bills. Door to door solicitors and liars. Tried to tell me ***** switched my service less that 3 months ago when I switched them over a year ago, lied stating I was paying approx 11-1/2-12 cents per kwh when I've never paid over .08, acted like they didn't know what nuclear energy was or said they were not allowed to talk about it. They trespass, and try bully tactics and fearmongering to get you to change service with them at a lot higher rate of 11-1/2 cents per kwh.Stay away from IGS Energy, they claim to be totally green energy... read more

Awful company. They came, unsolicited, to my house pressuring me that I can switch energy companies and get a great variable deal. The agent kept telling me to go get my latest utility bills to make the switch. I told the individual I had a meeting for work and could not do so and to come back later. During this time, I read these reviews on BBB regarding this business and changed my mind. Representative came to the door while I was home alone. Im very **** and believed the man when he told me he was going around My town getting acct info for ******** gas and med ** customers to ensure their same rates for the next three years. He even tried to have me allow him inside. (Thank god Im not that stupid.). I quickly called my fianc and informed him of the interaction because I did sign and signature, and we took off all our banking and card info from our accts to ensure this company will not be withdrawing funds. ... read more
I pay more now with IGS than I did with the utility company. I believed the sales pitch. If I could leave less than a star I would.

Beware IGS Energy has "true up" fees when you try and leave, bunch of thieves.
