Stayed here for my daughter's wedding. The hotel is dated. My daughter's suite was ok. but the sofa was old and covered in stains. Service there is not very good. Everyone smiles and says they will take care of it but never does. No one ever came to clean our room even after several requests. Fell In the tub because of lack of safety bar. Everyone's response is sorry but no action taken on anything. Very disappointed in this hotel during one of the most special times of my life
They "upgraded" our room because of our extended stay but I wish they hadn't. The room was right next to the exhaust fan for the kitchen and between that, the construction and constant slamming outside it was very loud and annoying. The AC barely works, doors won't close without slamming them shut and the toilet was running when we arrived. However, it's important to note that the staff were all very courteous and nice.
The front desk was so understanding and great after we had to cancel our reservations due to a cancelled flight. The representative waived the cancellation fee and wished me a better weekend ahead. Made our cancelled plans more bearable.
Got to our room and the trash can was full and there was a dirty towel hanging with the clean towels. Room has a fridge but no microwave The restaurants on sight are extremely over priced and not worth the money. Glad i had family near by otherwise my kids and i would have had an awful stay.
I love the Hyatt, why? People who works here are excellent and kinds.
Booked and paid for a room months in advance and get told they have over booked and sent away. Poor service from this Hotel
Stayed there for a convention ... Got put in some else's room to start. Then second room was filthy and tired. Had Happy Hour most nights, but the bar staff could learn to be polite and smile.... Grumpiest people in San Diego. Facilities ok. Marlin restaurant average.. Needs an up date
Wow! This place is AMAZING! Just a perfect slice of Paradise in Southern California! Definitely coming back again!
