This hotel use to be a favorite get away for us. But due to being treated poorly on recent stays we stopped going. We just gave the hotel another chance. What a disappointment. We made our reservation online noting we would be arriving late at night. We walked into the hotel and we were not even acknowledged by the front desk staff. This is a great stop, to enjoy a day, or night in a few of the attached restaurant's. Bring the boat in, dick, eat, go back out to fish or just cruise to Mexico .... Great place ...
Definitely not a 4 star hotel... the room decor is something out of a Hotel 6. Location is great. Our room smells like a battery... and it's needs a good carpet cleaning. We came in and they told us we didn't have the room we reserved... or wait... "requested". I guess... reservations isn't really reserving it.
Love the place. Just a short walk to Ocean Beach or Mission/Pacific Beach.
Fabulous. Location location location! What a fantastic setting. Great service, exceptional food. Need to find a reason to return.
We stayed here for my birthday and the staff was awesome. We ate at The Red Marlin Bar and Terrance and the food there was delicious and fresh, great presentation. Lived it
it was the most aweful experience ever! i have never seen a pool dirty like this. if you order somerhig to eat / drink, you wait to long. they dont clean up, so the food stays there for hours. this was really not hyatt like.
I went for the day with my son on a Resort Pass because of the water slides. The layout and location were gorgeous. However, the pool deck was crumbling and the pool tile grout was blackened with mildew. The fencing up to the slide area was horribly rusted. My son had a great time on the slides until he got too cold to continue to swim. The placement of the pools in relation to the bay makes for a constant wind tunnel.
