The Visionworks at Northpark Mall in Dallas is a big black hole of customer service. There is nobody responsible for anything. They are very focused on not getting covid from working. Actually they are very focused on just not doing anything at all. They will not answer the phone other than asking you to hold and then forgetting about you altogether. On 3/6/21 I arrived to my appointment 7 minutes late and “General Manager” Dawn - **** * ***** ***** ** *********** ** ***** was very rude & condescending to me. For starters, she initiated a conversation with me by merely speaking out loud. She didn’t address me nor look in my direction. She blurted out “what’s the name?”and I just so happened to look in her direction to see whom she was speaking too. I am beyond mad with this company, I had scheduled my entire family for eye appointments back in January (March was the soonest they had 4 appointments show up on their online platform) I tried calling the store to schedule but you can't. So i go this morning for an 8am appointment only to see the store is closed? All four of us even received confirmation texts this morning about our appointments. Came back from Visionworks with new glasses. I put them aside, as my current pair were still good. When the current pair broke I pulled out the new ones. While using them one lense fell out. Annoying. Full frame with screw to hold lens. I put the lense back in and tighten screw. I then compared my fix to the other side. Noticed the other screw was all chewed up and stripped. A closer look showed the lense was also chipped at that screw point. Well over 100 days. Go elsewhere.

This place is managed in a very unprofessional manner. I went in and had someone perform the preliminary exam on my eyes. She quoted me a contact lens price for 2-week contacts and one for daily contacts. I had a telehealth eye exam and received two prescriptions, one for glasses and one for contacts. When I was checking out, I asked the person helping me to give me a PD measurement. She said, "We don't do that." I said, "What?" She said, "The PD number is OUR number. I rarely ever right reviews, but this is a doozy. I get my eye exam and order glasses. A week later I get an email that they are ready for pickup and to go online and make an appointment. I go on-line and the only type of appointment you can make is for a new eye exam. I call that office number and a recording says to hold while they find an associate. It immediately hangs up. I call the 800 number and put on hold for ever. I try one of the automated chats at there website which tells me someone will call to discuss this pro... read more

I visited and ordered glasses for my granddaughter on Feb 10, 2021. I was asked to complete paperwork which I did - twice; once online and again in the store when they said they didn't have it. I updated all contact information. Glasses were supposed to be ready on or before 12/24/2021. I tried calling Vision Works 3 times. My experience with Vision Works(VW) has been so stressful! I had my first appointment with their optometrist in November of 2020. He was extremely rude and curt. At one point during my exam I couldn't read what the doctor(?) was asking me to read. He got mad and jerked the vision apparatus away from my face and yelled "What can't you see, I don't understand why you can't read this?" I exclaimed back " I am hear so you can help me see!" The WORSE. Ordered a pair of glasses for my daughter. 3 weeks after my order, received 1 of the glasses. over a months and still no 2nd pair and no news from vision works. Call Costumer services 3 days on a row and no answer. call the store, day one clerk could not find my glasses on her system, wasn't sure if they process my request. they end up simply canceling my PAID order. I will never ever use their services again
