I didn’t like it because it didn’t have free breakfast.The rooms didn’t have a microwave, and the refrigerator is full of they stuff that If u drink they gone charge u and arm and a leg. The rooms or nice other than that, but it’s over priced to me, I won’t be returning.

Came to Houston for a UFC fight at the Toyota Center, staying at the hotel which very nice and lovely view of the city.
Great Experience loved my visit.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and spacious. The location of this hotel is great! The galleria and many restaurants across the street. Grotto is walking distance from hotel.
There were so many things I loved that were so different they incorporated the Texas feel with modern décor and so much more they knocked it out of the park I will definitely stay there again and the hospitality Was outstanding

Changed my mind, front desk rubbed me wrong. Hotels in the area maintain professionalism at all times no matter the circumstances. When you have an experience different from normally in the Galleria, it throws you off. That was the situation at the Hotel Derek.
