The Application to Leasing Process for tenants has been a miserable. Many regrets - do not expect reliable communication from this company and their employees. I would give zero stars if it was possible. My wife and I put in our application and paid our application fee. Once approved, the website wouldn't allow us to pay our security deposit. We emailed and notified the Resident Coordinator, and she told us she would "escalate this to her supervisor, and she would get back with us." This company is a rip off! My family and I are looking to rent a home, for we need a bigger space. This company has poor communication. We applied for several homes, but kept getting the run around. Then I finally emailed and asked that someone email me a home that I would be the first to apply. If I could give this company zero stars I would. This company has zero communication and if they do, you have to go back and forth with them in order for them to understand what you are needing/wanting. I submitted an application for a house that I had no clue that was pending because they didn't let me know, then I received an email days later saying that the house has been leased but I can transfer my application over to a new property. This is by FAR the WORST property management company I have EVER rented from. I moved into a home a month ago and have had 10 service requests that have needed attention. Air conditioning, bathroom leaks, dishwasher leaks, garage door access, etc. The property manager only speaks through the service request site. I have emailed countless people, sent texts, left voicemails to the same people that email and still no vocal responses. Please please please when you move out document, take pictures and video. They are total crooks. There are currently 3 open small claims against them (that I know of) for keeping security deposit. There is a Facebook page dedicated to the people that they rip off.
This company is the WORST in communication, professionalism. They charge you for the application fee for everyone older than 18yo and then they do not contact you to tell you anything. After we tracked people down the property manager and the underwriter it's all been a scam with them saying it's 1 to 3 days then 2 to 5 days and then 5 to 7 business days to hear a response if we were approved or not. This company is running a blatant bait and switch. They post tons of properties and leave the postings up, despite them having overwhelming pending applications. My girlfriend and I discovered this after falling in love with a property for rent. We were quite upset that the property was unavailable after receiving an email from an employee. I tried to file an application for a rental. There's some issues with the property but I was told that I had to take the home 'as is'. I know that if I took it and moved out I would be charged for broken closet doors hot water heater didn't work and cabinet doors painted shut. I filled out the application and was sent a focusing. My application was already signed and it wasn't my signature. They request an $80 application fee and a lease fee which is not disclosed. It's a shame.
