I would never rent from this company. There is zero help. I’ve been here almost 6 months and I’m still waiting to get my mailbox keys. They make up random charges and your rent and bills will be different every month. When I’ve called into ask what’s going on they never have any answers because they hire people in another country that have no idea what’s what. I am currently an owner who has used HRG for the last 5 years. I gave notice of termination of agreement on May 27 2025. I have been promised over and over that my deposits and owner account is being returned to me Over 60 days later still have not received my funds. They also locked out one of my tenants and she was unable to pay her rent. They then served her with a 3 day eviction notice. This company doesnt care about their tenants they refuse to fix anything in the properties making it unstable and dangerous to live
I'm in the process of closing out my account with this business. I've had an agreement with them for 3 years and from the first few months, there were red flag warnings! The didn't charge us for their monthly fee until 6 months later, when my husband and I requested an audit of their accounting because we never received the correct monthly rent up until that point and for that matter, the entire 3 years that we had an agreement with them. I live in a condo below a property managed by Homeriver group. I had damage to my condo from their property and ********* since October 13th 2024 I now have more damage since another leak and have yet to talk to anyone from the company. I have no idea how a company let us so bad can continue to operate without any investigations into it. I have called numerous people and Ive never had a call returned. This company is not to be trusted with anything. They took no responsibility or accountability over my home which they managed for several years after they bought out my original leasing company. The owner moved out three months before they even contacted me and when I stopped receiving rent it took them two months to even contacted me. My house was trashed and I ended spending 60k to rehab it. Stay away from this company!!
This is a horrible company that should not be in business. I have given them money out utilities in my name. Not keys or acces to the house, cant get a hold of anybody except their outsourced call center. My family and I have been homeless all weekend with our rented U haul and trailer just parked and our new rental because we can't get inside! This company needs to go out of business.
Dealing with HomeRiver Group, particularly their Pensacola branch, has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. Over the course of two years managing my property, they have repeatedly demonstrated unprofessionalism, including lying about completed repairs. Even four weeks after the tenants moved out, the property remains uncleaned. We had 'One Prpoerty Management' managing our Dallas property for 17 years without any problems. Since the 'Home River Group' bought out 'One Property' we have had nothing but problems. We have suffered outrageous costs against our one single family that they managed. Over the past twelve months they charges us $6,940 in management and miscelaneous charges.
