I concur with the other reviews, DO NOT RENT FROM HOMERIVER!!! I moved in on 5/20 and have had nothing but issues since. Here are the big ones: -They didn't do a move-out inspection before clearing me to move in. I know this because on 5/22, a man CAME INTO MY APARTMENT WHILE I WAS HOME trying to do a move out inspection. He had no idea someone was there. Worst rental company. Our utilities bill keeps going up and they refuse to let us see our usage. Our rental home had a dead animal in the ** unit and they refused to help us when we ended up with a fly infestation. The rental company before this covered pest control and this company now says they dont. ?
Literal scammers. Do not rent any property they are listing -- they WILL keep your security deposit and give you NO service.
Horrible company needs to be out of of business immediately!! They dont inspect homes they just take your money so you can move in and find tons of issues
They charge a high rent and then add all kinds of fees to your bill... not only have they don't this but they also charged me for utilities that I have in my and my husband's name. How they are able to do that is beyond me. We don't go through them for our utilities we have them in our name and pay the utilities directly. This company only cares about money and try to charge you for anything they think they can get away with.
If I could give it negative stars I would. I’ve been renting from this company for under a year at this point. The maintenance department is useless, they can’t tell you a property manager name or number or even give a legal address to send certified mail to. I certified mailed a 14 days to repair or quit letter to the address listed for this company and it couldn’t even be delivered. I have rented ********************************************************** Im single mother with children. Our AC has broken but they didnt fix for nearly 2 month and a half out of 12 month in a hot Sun. Just because the owner didnt want to respond, the property manager didnt do anything about it. I had to talk to district manager to fix this problems Kids were SO SICK THE WHOLE TIME. It was a night mare. They were all rude and Ive still stramatized. This property management took over for ameritex whom I assumed went out of business well before I signed my lease in March 2023. They ran a promotion stating that if we sign before April our 12th month rent would be free. Well my 12th month came but by this time HomeRiver group had taken over and as I assumed that I would get my 12th month free I didn't pay rent on time causing all types of late fees but I had contacted HomeRiver group prior to that at last a month in advance and they stated they was going to reach out to am... read more
