I have been a Hilton Brand hotels fan for years. I am even currently a Gold member and just shy of Platinum. However, Hilton hotels have gotten way too expensive now. So, I have decided to no longer stay at their hotels. We even have a corporate discount that used to be really good. But now when you put in our code, the price is “higher” than the regular rate! I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Jackson Mississippi on April 15 through the 16th for a wedding. When I arrived on 15 April I asked to be moved to another room that had two queen beds, that was not an issue. When I moved to the second room the air conditioner was broken in the room and it was 80° the entire night. The maintenance man came up and was unable to fix our unit but was able to provide a box fan for the night. I booked an overnight reservation through Hilton Garden Inn at 3320 S 9th Street, Salina, Kansas. It was a quick overnight stop to somewhere else. The room listed for $ 139.00. The city and luxury taxes were about 20%. I expected a $ 168.00 charge. I processed it, and it charged me $ 212.39. I called to find out my options, and they said it is non refundable. If I could give zero stars I would. The hotel unlawfully evicted me for a week stay due to a reservation error. I stayed at this hotel for 6 months due to being assigned to the area. I am an electronic engineer for the hospitals around California and neighboring states. One day was supposed to be canceled from a 6 day stay. The whole reservation was canceled in error and all of my belongings were removed from the room and disrespectfully placed in the office of the hotel on the floor. My husband and I booked a 3 night stay in a king size room at Hilton Richardson through a third party site. As most people nowadays do. I'm a hilton Honors member but was getting a better deal elsewhere. When we checked in, the concierge told us they had no King rooms and that because we booked on a site outside of Hilton itself that the rooms were on first come first serve basis. On 4-8-22 my extended family visited Cary, North Carolina. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary to attend a funeral on 4-9-22. The Front Desk Supervisor facilitated the check-in for my reservations. He announced that my payment was declined. I reviewed my online banking to verify the full payment transactions. I had a reservation for Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Park Central Area for April 9-11, 2022. Upon arrival the front desk employee told me that the hotel was fully booked and that reservations don’t hold the room but only paying for the room ahead of time does. I was suddenly stranded with my family after flying across country and scrambling to find accommodation the same evening. The options were limited obviously. I stayed at Doubletree by Hilton in Skokie IL. I was treated terribly and disrespectfully by the front desk staff. They are the rudest. They are an older staff you would think they had morals or would be courteous. Bitter mad sad staff.

Incident was at Hilton Garden Inn-Augusta, GA FIne Front Desk Staff-perhaps inexperienced handling guest requests such as splitting billing portfolios or following up on a fume reporting incident requiring access into a guest room.
